NEC Announcement -
The National Election Commission has several announcements concerning the 2009 election.
1) The date of the General Assembly elections has been moved to May 9th and 10th. This move has been made because it is clear that voting machine equipment will not be ready until early May.
2) The date of the first national debate will be March 24th, the second debate will be held April 1st, the third and final debate will be held on May 7th.
3) The second campaign spending finance report is due March 20th.
