The Future of Energy?

The Franklin Times -

Gas prices reached a new record high on Tuesday. The national average for a gallon of unleaded gasoline was $3.41. The price of gas was caused in part by rising oil prices on the global market. However, the energy question remains an open one as no party has yet proposed a comprehensive energy policy. After winning the 2007 election the FCP led coalition failed to pass a compromise energy policy through the National Assembly leaving the country directionless on the energy question. However, as consumers continually feel this economic pinch it is bound to grow in political importance.

What is the answer to the energy question? The answer may not be so clear...

The FDRP is giving $7 billion toward increasing supply of resources to match the demand. With this $7 billion they are allowing the government to produce a surplus of resources such as:oil, coal and natural gas, without over producing to the point of extinction. By increasing our supply, the cost should lower behind the scenes for the private companies selling these products. Thus, lowering the cost for the consumers.

The issue of deforestation of rainforests has been all but ignored completely in the U.S. these past years, all attention stolen by worries of green house gases. Our own nation should be made aware of these afflictions and why companies are tearing down these environments. The fact that people say they are aiming for a better fuel source to keep the environment clean when they destroy these habitats is a very hypocritical statement. The best solution to our energy crisis should not be to tear down forests for a bio-fuel. Nor should oil companies continue to raise prices. Our nation needs to work together to find a re-usable resource for energy, or find more affordable and easier methods of clean energy that we already have access to, such as wind, solar, or hydro energy.
Our party will take a stand for alternative and more clean methods for our rapidly growing energy consumption.

The L&F Party have an enormous interest on the whole energy situation, and our energy policies will be up shortly. Energy is an important part to our nation and to the rest of the world, and is not an issue to be taken lightly. Our policies on energy will be discussed more thoroughly on the L&F party's website.

Thank you.

The (LLP) have a great concern for the future of energy in the Franklin States of America. We understand that gas prices have been on a steady incline for the past few years, especially since the new party rose to power. We would like to spend $5 billion towards the creation of a better energy policy. This would allow us to start fixing the energy problem, and start to fix some of the environmental issues that have been arising. If you have anymore question please view our webpage for more details. Thank you!
