The Literally Liberal Party

"I stand before you today, a citizen just as all of you, with the same concerns as all of you. We all share this Earth, however we need to realize how fragile this all can really be. Everyday we sit back and watch as our environment becomes subject to abuse. My people, our survival depends on this planet. Let's start to take care of our surroundings. (Applause)
The Franklin States of America has been home to me all my life, and it is of the utmost importance that we keep it healthy for our future generations. Our very own ocean waters are being contaminated due to all the pollution from separate factories and activities. We can not stand aside and simply watch this happen. (Applause)
I'm proposing the Verde Plan. This is an $8 billion plan to allow the FEPA to regulate the environmental concerns within our great nation. They will have the authority to fine anyone causing damage to any part of our environment. We need to take a stand against pollution and damage, this plan will help us all. Thank you and God Bless you all."

"Our plan to defend and protect the environment is to spend $5 billion toward the cause. One million of that is to go to research for global warming and find alternative fuel services. We also hope to create a national park. In this park, there will be a zoo that will host a cornucopian of endangered species and preserve land. We would give $4 million to the Franklin Environmental Protection Agency to oversee environmental concerns that will be pointed by the government and/or citizens. We hope to encourage recycling in our schools and households by placing recycling bins in schools and supplying recycling bins for our citizens. Also to encourage our citizens we will pay them a rate per pound of items recycled. The FEPA would also have the power to fine anyone caught degrading the environment through any act at any time. Citizens or business that wish to build any type of establishment where there is a large amount of forestation would be required to have a permit only granted by local FEPA Buildings. If anyone is caught building without this permit they will be called to court by the FEPA to face punishments. Businesses must certain regulations determining a low rate of pollution from their production.
Businesses would be examined when any type of inspection occurs or when deemed necessary by the FEPA. There will be a national holiday once a month for the citizens to plant a tree or other type of plant. Schools will still be in session regardless the day the holiday falls on and schools are required to have students participate by planting plants on the school grounds if possible or in a local park. The date for this holiday would be the 16th of every month starting in the year 2009. In terms of resource harvesting our party does wish to harvest more. However it is important for all groups no matter what their cause to realize by harvesting more resources we are only acting for the good of our consumers.
By harvesting more of these resources; crude oil, coal, and natural gas we hope to force inflation down. This is simply the concept of supply and demand, high demand calls for high supply to push product value toward their market-clearing price. The market-clearing price is simply where supply and demand are equal. Along with the thought of harvesting more of these resources, comes the thought of extinction. Our party will be regulating the amount harvested to insure the security of extinction prevention. We will NOT allow the extinction of these resources. As stated previously we are trying to develop more efficient alternatives, but until they are reached we must increase the harvest. Thank you for your time and remember to support the FDRP. “We follow in our father’s footsteps!”"

The earth is taken for granted everyday, and the FMP is here to put an end to it. The citizens of FSA are showing great concern with the environmental conditions in their nation, and the FMP is responding. We are foreseeing a $20 million investment in an Environmental Protection Agency, that will take effect immediately. The EPA is designated to control pollution and waste, while monitoring the destruction of our forests, rivers, and lakes.
The earth has been nothing but beneficial towards us, and it’s time we give a little back. Recycling will be an requirement that can be placed upon the citizens by the States if they so choose, and anyone in violation will receive a fine determined by the State which may not be cruel and unusual.
The path that the environment is heading down is not a positive one, and if there isn’t a stop to it now, then the everyday resources we take for granted, such as clean water, and fresh air- may not be available for our children, or their children. The FMP is looking ahead and we are going to do all in our power to ensure the renewal of our environment.
-Thank you, and Happy Earth Day *FMP

The Love and Freedom Party's main priority is to protect and preserve the environment, and to keep energy use at a minimum. Part of the LFP's 10 million dollar budget towards the environment will be spent on providing historic levels of funding for conservation -- including a wildlife reservation, and a botanical garden, built to keep our endangered flora and fauna from going extinct. New hunting laws will be established, such as only hunting certain animals during a certain season, and only hunting in particular regions. These laws will be fully enforced, and anybody violating them will receive severe punishment.
The Environmental Protection Agency will come into full force in our new government. The LFP will work hand-in-hand with the EPA. The EPA will provide Clean Energy Programs, which will inform the people of the Franklin States of America on how to conserve energy. The Clean Energy Programs will reach out especially into both public and private schools, working with the students to create environmental work days, and "power-out" days, where the students will commence their studies outdoors.
Littering fees will be at an all-time high. Anybody caught littering will not only pay a fine, but will also be required to pick up trash along the strip of road that they littered on, or in local parks and neighborhoods. Trash not only pollutes the environment, but makes the cities of the Franklin States of America look unhealthy and unsafe.
Take a look around at the beautiful country we live in. Do not be fooled into thinking that saving the environment is not your job, but somebody else's -- we all live here. Let's all do our part to keep our country healthy and safe.

Thank you,
- The Love & Freedom Party.

Not once did the FMP state how to go about changing our environmental ways other than recycling! They say all these resources are important but do not tell how to preserve them or maintain them. We already new the environment was important. The question was how do they go about fixing this problem and protecting the environment!!!
