Socialist Victory in Spain

The Franklin Times -

Over the weekend, the Socialist government in Spain was reelected. The Socialist Party was the clear victor in the weekend elections, winning five more seats than in 2004. While the party is short of a majority, forming a coalition will probably offer little challenge to the party. Many analysts point to the results as a statement of support for the leftist policies of this party in a historically conservative country. What does this foretell for the Franklin States?

This socialist victory may influence the thoughts of the F.S.A. to vote more left of center, based on the fact that when most of the parties come from one end of the political spectrum it is simply more convenient for the government. Supported by the fact that coalitions are almost always part of politics in a multi-party system such the F.S.A. When the winning parties share the same views it is much easier to run government ,establish coalitions and to agree on critical matters.

The FMP is siding with the worker. The common person is our main concern, with only their best interests in mind. The unemployment rates are soaring out of control, and the FMP is going to work hard to bring jobs back to the Franklin States of America. To keep our country strong we must keep the number of imported goods to a minimum. The workers of F.S.A. make up the majority of the country, and there lies the majority of our concerns.
